Holy Spirit Youth Mass
All are welcome to attend our 4:00 PM Sunday Youth Mass! While all are welcome to attend and participate in the Youth Mass, this Mass is a place where teens are encouraged to participate together in a unique way. At this Mass, the music brings both the old and the new in a beautiful and reverent way. The teens are highly encouraged to find an area of the Mass where they feel called to serve. Opportunities include:
· Altar Serving
· Helping in the Choir as vocalists and/ or musicians
· Ushering/ Hospitality Ministry
· Welcome Table
· Serving as a Lector
· Once Confirmed, teens may volunteer to be Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion.

Middle School [6th – 8th Graders]
EDGE
Edge at Holy Spirit is a weekly ministry that meets during the school year for 6th-8th graders. Edge provides teens with a dynamic program to help them follow Jesus Christ by inviting them to become more active in the Church and in their community. This helps the teens to be more energized to grow and live the Catholic faith joyfully. At Edge, we will discover the greatness of our faith, share our successes, and struggles together, and then go forth to share Christ with the world.”

High School
LIFE TEEN [9th-12th Grade Teens]
Life Teen is a movement of the Holy Spirit designed for 9th-12th graders. At Holy Spirit, we are committed to providing our teens with a dynamic program to help them follow Jesus Christ by inviting them to become more active in the Church and its beautiful liturgical tradition, and more energized to grow and live the Catholic Faith. We believe that creating opportunities for encounters with Christ is essential to the faith journey. In addition to our weekly faith formation sessions, we also offer additional opportunities throughout the year. These dynamic sessions encourage youth to ask questions, find belonging, and participate in the life of the Church. Teens are also encouraged to become active in parish life by serving as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Hospitality Ministers as well as many other opportunities to volunteer.
· Life Teen meets after the 4:00 PM Mass from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
CONFIRMATION [Freshman Year of High School]
At Holy Spirit, our Confirmation program is 1 year. Our program takes place in the freshman year of High School, but we accept teens in 9th-12th grades. Classes begin in the Fall and continue through the Spring until our Confirmation Mass takes place, typically late Spring. Teens enrolled in Confirmation are highly encouraged to come to Life Teen as well. We use the Life Teen Purpose Confirmation Curriculum.
· Confirmation Class meets on Wednesday Nights from 6:30 PM-8:00 PM in the Skylight Room.
· We will have a required overnight retreat in the Spring.
