Summary: Church of the Holy Spirit is seeking a qualified candidate for the full-time position of Faith Formation Secretary / Multimedia Assistant.

Essential Duties Secretarial responsibilities include:
• Serving those who visit and/or call the Faith Formation office
• Registering and maintaining the database of registered Faith Formation families
• Sorting incoming mail and ordering office supplies
• Performing general secretarial office duties
• Other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor
Multimedia responsibilities include:
• Weekly publication of the church bulletin
• Video production and/or editing
• Coordination of in-house live-streaming services such as classes and religious services
• Assisting in the development and/or preparation of presentation materials
• Other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor

• Candidate must be a person of faith and prayer
• At least two years experience in a similar position
• Experience with Office 365 a must
• Experience with Adobe CC preferred
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Have organizational and time management skills
• Ability to represent the parish professionally and courteously to those who call, write or visit
• Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred.

Summary:  The full-time Youth and Young Adult Minister is responsible for the development, organization, and administration of a youth and young adult formation program that integrates a full spectrum of
discipleship opportunities, including encounter experiences, ongoing relational ministry, and engaging catechesis – all in close collaboration with parents/families.

Essential Duties Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with Faith Formation Director in implementing a vision for the discipleship of teens and young
adults through a variety of formation opportunities
• Put on and attend a variety of different events, groups, and programs for teens and young adults to encounter Jesus and continue growing as disciples, as well as preparing teens for confirmation
• Recruit and lead facilitators, chaperones and volunteers for youth and young adult formation programs
• Monitor a budget in accord with the directions of the Director of Faith Formation
• Assist all youth and young adult ministry volunteers in working toward diocesan catechetical certification
• Cooperate with other parish staff in developing and implementing parish programs and use of the facilities
• Maintain appropriate records
• Perform any other pertinent duties as assigned by the Director of Faith

Formation Qualifications:
• Candidate must be living in full sacramental communion with the Catholic Church
• Degree in theology, youth ministry, catechetics or a related field preferred
• Experience in youth ministry and religious education is required
• Competent in visioning, applying age-appropriate methods and basic program development
• Exhibit skills in interpersonal communication and relationship building, in working in collaborative settings with peers and individuals from other departments and in public speaking
• Ability to lead music during liturgies and praise/worship is desired but not required
