Position:  Director of Finance

Job Description: This position has the primary, operational and fiduciary responsibility for the overall administration of the Business Office functions, management of facilities and plant operations for both the parish and school.  The Director of Finance works under the direct supervision of the Pastor in conjunction with the guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

The major areas of responsibility include: 1) Resource in all financial matters from planning to auditing; 2) Maintaining accurate record keeping for all parish and school financial transactions, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end reports; 3) Prepare, administer and review the budget process and present to the Pastor and Finance Council for annual approval; 4) Supervision of Business Office personnel, Plant Manager, and Facilities Manager; 5) Responsibility for IT management; 6) Performs additional duties as requested by the Pastor.

Requirements/ Qualifications/ Certifications : Person of faith and prayer who actively participates in Roman Catholic worship; BA/BS degree required, MBA and/or CPA preferred; thorough understanding of nonprofit accounting and financial management systems; demonstrated oral and written communication skills; computer skills required and knowledge of ParishSOFT, Paylocity, Microsoft Office preferred; supervisory experience required; ability to maintain confidentiality.  Prior experience in Parish and School accounting will be a real plus.

Position: Janitorial / Maintenance

Job Description: Duties include but not limited picking up trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, or using industrial cleaning equipment to clean floors, cleaning and stocking bathrooms, making sure buildings are cleaned and secured, polishing of furniture, cleaning windows, minor building maintenance.

Knowledge and/or experience with general repairs, painting, plumbing, equipment maintenance, grounds maintenance. Mechanical aptitude a plus, good oral/written communication skills, teamwork attitude. Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds.
